THIS CLASS IS FULL.

The ancient technique of encaustic is an exciting tool when used to expand one’s visual vocabulary. Participants will learn how easy it is to transfer images onto a number of surfaces, as well as metal leafing, collage, stencils, and working with line and edge. Safety procedures and setting up your studio will be addressed, as well as a presentation on Encaustic with a Textile Sensibility. This translucent medium creates amazing layers, textures and surfaces. All levels welcome. Download Materials List.
