The Kira Fournier Scholarship provides full tuition and room and board scholarships of $860 to an established studio artist in order to promote his/her artistic growth. Established by Benjamin Schore in memory of his late wife, an innovative New Hampshire artist who died in 2002, the scholarship provides a grant to cover tuition and room and board for North Country Studio Workshops 2012. Mentor Program: To ensure the future of fine craft by encouraging and enabling the next generation through the fostering of a lasting relationship between an experienced craftsperson (the Mentor) and an emerging craftsperson (the Mentee). The Mentor and Mentee will each receive $860 to cover full room, board, and tuition (exclusive of materials fee and travel) for the duration of the 2012 NCSW workshop. Workshop Monitor: Workshop Monitor positions are available. Monitors are responsible for assisting the instructor, including studio set up, and are expected to be familiar with the general technical requirements of their particular studio. Monitors are also workshop participants and will have ample time for personal work. Download Monitor Application describing the monitor position and an application form.

Applicants must be registered for a workshop in order to apply for Scholarships, Mentor and Monitor positions. Workshop registration and scholarship application materials along with $195 ($150 workshop deposit and $45 non-refundable processing fee) are due by September 1, 2011.
